My story

Why I built The First Time Investor

When I first started learning about the stock market, I ran into the same problem most beginners face — the information out there is either too complex, too vague, or designed to sell you something.

I spent a lot of time piecing things together from different sources, making mistakes, and slowly building a real understanding of how markets work. That process taught me a lot — but it didn’t have to be that hard.

That’s why I built The First Time Investor. I wanted to create a single, honest place where anyone — complete beginner or experienced trader — could learn the stock market clearly, step by step, without the noise.

Everything on this site is written in plain language, with real examples. No jargon. No filler. Just the things that actually matter when it comes to investing your money wisely.
